Hello! My name is Iris Fonseca Michel, I am the founder and director of the Esencial brand. I am a General Physician, with interest and passion for alternative medicine, I was in research teams for the development of new plant-based products and from there my love for what I do every day was born.

I am passionate about herbalism and botany, as well as pre-Hispanic Mexican medicine. I firmly believe that we can always find endless answers if we return to our roots in Mother Nature.

Esencial was born during the Covid-19 pandemic in response to the search for more natural options to so many questions generated by this historic event. We seek to provide answers to uncertainty, wanting to have access to products that are eco-conscious, that value artisanal work and the added value that the human hand can add to it and that, at the same time, would be a source of support for the female sector that seeks to change people's lives step by step, that is aware of the respect that the plants that give us their miraculous properties deserve, including animals and humans, that honor their energy and appreciate each part of the process. And so, by answering these questions, we arrive at the fundamental pillars of our brand.

We love that we can carry the message that there IS more than one option and that those who opt for something different will be enormously and pleasantly surprised, which is why we create all our lines that cover the needs that may arise throughout life.

From the beginning of the gestation of the idea (2020) to the present, we have been working for 4 years to expand our borders and be able to offer a wide variety of products reaching every corner of the country, and soon to more countries throughout the American continent. .

Our work team is made up mostly of women, from those who provide us with the raw materials, until your order is on its way to the door of your home.
